Ukrainian experimental drone Sea Baby with 850kg of TNT hit Russian missile ship Samum, which is a carrier of Moskit anti-ship missiles
The Security Service of Ukraine successfully used a Sea Baby kamikaze drone on 14 September 2023. The drone's target was the Russian small missile ship Samum.

Sea Baby attacked the rear right side of the missile ship. After sustaining serious damage, the Samum lost its course. The Russians were able to tow the ship with a roll to starboard and a large trim to the stern.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Defence Forces used Sea Baby for strikes on the Kerch Bridge. Sea Baby is capable of carrying 850kg of explosives. An experimental version of the sea drone, which can operate in a storm, was used to strike the Samum ship.
As for the Russian missile ship, it was built under Project 1239 and adopted into service more than 23 years ago. "Samum" is armed with launchers for Moskit anti-ship missiles, 76 mm artillery and Osa-M anti-aircraft missile system.
