Sonos is preparing to release Move 2 smart speaker with improved sound, up to 24 hours of battery life, IP56 protection and Amazon Alexa support

According to our colleagues at The Verge, Sonos is preparing to release a new Move 2 smart speaker.

Here's What We Know

According to the leak, externally, the new model will not differ from the current version of Sonos Move. All the changes will concern the characteristics of the device. The smart speaker received improved sound, as well as increased to 24 hours of battery life. The speaker will be installed two angled tweeters. Thanks to this novelty will get support for stereophonic sound.

In addition, the device will have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, IP56 protection and a place for charging a smartphone. The smart speaker should come with support for Amazon Alexa and Sonos Voice Control. Unfortunately, Google Assistant will not be in the novelty.

Price & When We Can Expect It

The release of Sonos Move 2 will take place in the near future. The novelty will cost $449 and will come to the market in three colours: black, white and olive.
