Magic Leap will soon discontinue support for its augmented reality glasses. The model is called Magic Leap 1.

Here's What We Know

The augmented reality goggles appeared in mid-2018. But at first, the company sold a pre-release version of the device for $2395. The full version of the Magic Leap 1 went on sale in 2019 at a price of $2995.

You can't buy the headset now, but the company continues to support the accessory. However, this won't be the case for long. The support will last until 31 December 2024. The company announced this in an email sent to all Magic Leap 1 owners.

The augmented reality goggles are equipped with transparent glass. The computing unit is attached to the belt, and the control is performed either with a controller or by tracking the user's hand movements.

The company now has Magic Leap 2 mixed reality glasses (pictured above) in its range. It was introduced last year. It cost $3300 or $5000 depending on the bundle.
