Apple has discontinued service on a 2014 smartwatch with a gold case priced at $10,000-17,000
Apple will no longer service its most expensive smartwatch. We are talking about a special version of the Apple Watch 2014.
Here's What We Know
In 2014, the company from California presented the first generation of smartwatches. They appeared on the market about six months later. However, that year the manufacturer decided to present a special model, which was called Apple Watch Edition.
The luxury version of the wearable gadget was equipped with a case made of gold, and the cost was at least $10,000. The most expensive watch was priced at $17,000 and offered an additional gold strap. You can see them in the photo above.
Putting the Apple Watch Edition on the list of obsolete devices means that the watch is no longer serviced and repaired by Apple Stores and authorised service centres. All other versions of the original Apple Watch are with them too.
