Number of Ghostrunner copies sold exceeds 2.5 million

Although Ghostrunner 2 will be released next month, the first part of the series has recently made its mark. 505 Games has announced that the number of copies of the original Ghostrunner has passed the 2.5 million mark!

The developer announced this in a new post on Steam. He also said that he initially wanted to announce two million copies, but due to the huge interest in the sequel, they quickly "reached" 2.5 million. Although the team hopes to reach the three million sales milestone soon, they received a plaque and poster from 505 Games to mark the achievement.

Ghostrunner 2 will be released on the 26th of October for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC.
