Sonic Superstars is just one of the many projects that Sega is planning to showcase during the Tokyo Games Show, which will take place on 21st of September. But even before the show starts, the company decided to publish a new trailer for the game, which reveals the game's incredible music, created by Rintaro Soma, who also worked on Sonic Frontiers:

Here's What We Know

Unlike Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Superstars will return to the "traditional" 2D side-scrolling style that characterises the series. However, unlike Sonic Mania, it introduces 3D visuals and offers a four-player co-op mode, allowing you to play as Sonic, Tails, Amy and Knuckles. This game is also notable for the fact that it features completely new levels that are not repeated from the old games in the series.

When We Can Expect It

Sonic Superstars will be released on the 17th of October on Xbox Series, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
