It's official: Total War: Pharaoh will be released on the 11th of October

SEGA has announced the exact release date of the strategy game Total War Pharaoh - the game will be available on October 11.

Here's What We Know

A limited physical edition will be released in Europe a little later - on October 23, with additional cosmetic kits and a physical map. All those who pre-order the game will get access to the game from Friday, September 29 to Monday, October 2, as well as additional cosmetic accessories.

The events of Pharaoh take the series back to the Bronze Age and the conflicts between the Egyptians, Hittites, and mysterious sea peoples.

"It's an accurate recreation of the history of Ancient Egypt with some creative digressions where there are some gaps in information. It may seem a bit restrained, but after years of fantasies that shine with bright colours, interpretations of history, and ancient poetry, Pharaoh may be the historical itch we need," the developers say.
