Bandai Namco Europe CEO: "Shadow of the Erdtree add-on for Elden Ring will be released soon"

The fantasy action-RPG Elden Ring is the biggest hit of 2022. The game won a huge number of awards and became one of the most highly rated games in the history of the industry.

In early 2023, FromSoftware studio officially announced the first add-on for Elden Ring. However, there has been very little information about Shadow of the Erdtree until now.

Here's What We Know

The developers presented only a few concept-arts of the Shadow of the Erdtree add-on, from which it is impossible to draw any conclusions about it.

Finally, there was a hint (at least something!) from an official about the DLC release date.

In an interview with Games Industry.biz, Bandai Namco CEO Arnaud Muller said that Shadow of the Erdtree "will be released in the near future". He didn't specify when that time would be, but it's safe to assume that the add-on will be released in late 2023 or early 2024.
