Plans haven't changed: CD Projekt RED is preparing an expanded edition of Cyberpunk 2077 and promises that it will be different from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition
Almost a year ago, CD Projekt RED announced that after the release of the Phantom Liberty add-on, it plans to release an expanded edition of Cyberpunk 2077, which will include all the released updates and additional content.
The developer's plans have not changed.
Here's What We Know
During the investor Q&A session, CD Projekt's commercial director Michał Nowakowski said that the company has not abandoned the idea, but did not disclose the specific timing of such an edition.
Nowakowski promised that as soon as they decide on the final details, information about the Cyberpunk 2077 expansion will be made public.
The commercial director also emphasised that this edition will be different from The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition, but he didn't specify what the difference is either.
Obviously, the compilation will include the original game, Phantom Liberty expansion, free content based on the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime, but it's possible that the studio will offer some other surprises, otherwise it's hard to guess what the difference with the similar edition of The Witcher 3 might be.
