Star Citizen will be free on November 17 to celebrate Intergalactic Aerospace Expo 2953
Cloud Imperium Games has announced that the sci-fi space game Star Citizen will be available to everyone for almost two weeks starting from November 17 as part of Intergalactic Aerospace Expo 2953. During this event, players will be able to register an account on the game's official website by simply entering their name and start playing.
Here's What We Know
During the Intergalactic Aerospace Expo 2953, the studio will also unveil more spaceships that will be added to the game; for those who may not know, 2953 is the current year in the Star Citizen setting, as time in the game's setting moves along with the real world.
Each day of the event will be dedicated to one spaceship manufacturer in the Star Citizen world, and new ships will be demonstrated each day. The event will end on 26 November with a demonstration of Best in Show weapons and armour, followed by a 3-day finale from 27 to 30 November.
According to the studio, Star Citizen's single-player mode, Squadron 42, is now fully ready, although there is no release date yet (like the game itself).
