Ubisoft has officially announced an anniversary edition of Beyond Good & Evil in honour of the iconic game's 20th anniversary

Today we reported that the Xbox Store database has spotted a page with Beyond Good & Evil - 20th Anniversary Edition, a re-release of the cult adventure game that came out in 2003.

And the official announcement didn't take long to arrive!

Here's What We Know

Ubisoft announced Beyond Good & Evil 20th Anniversary Edition in honour of the game's 20th anniversary.

The developers are not sharing details yet, but said that they are trying to release the highest quality game, worthy of the glory of the original Beyond Good & Evil.

They promise to release the re-release in 2024.

As a reminder, it is the sequel to Beyond Good & Evil that is officially recognised as the longest game in development. It has been in the works for over 15 years and, most paradoxically, the project is still in the early stages of production.
