Motion Twin, the studio known for the roguelike metroidvania Dead Cells, presented its next game, the isometric action game Windblown, at the annual Game Awards:
Here's What We Know
The trailer shows that the game departed from the "2.5D canons" of Dead Cells and was made in an isometric 3D style.
In the game, you will control the character Leaper, and your main mission will be to protect the Ark from enemies. According to Motion Twin, you can absorb the memories of fallen warriors and then put them to good use by incorporating their skills into your weapons. In addition, you can participate in all Windblown activities with two friends.
Where To Play
It is currently known that the game will be available on PC. No other platforms are mentioned.
When We Can Expect It
The early access release is scheduled for 2024.
