According to Circana's monthly reports, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was ranked first as the best-selling game in January 2024. Tekken 8 took the second position, and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which failed to meet the expectations of Warner Bros.

Circana looked at sales data from 30 December 2023 to 3 February 2024, explaining the inclusion of Suicide Squad on the list despite the fact that its official release took place on 2 February.
