Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy, a remake of the cult quest from the creator of Syberia series, has been announced

French publisher Microids has announced a remake of the cult quest Amerzone.

Here's What We Know

The original game was released in 1999 and became one of the best quests in the history of video games. The development of the project was led by Benoît Sokal - a famous artist and screenwriter, the author of the famous quest series Syberia.

The updated version of Amerzone is subtitled The Explorer's Legacy and will be a complete remake of the first game.

Players will go to a settlement lost in the jungles of Latin America to solve the mystery of mysterious white birds.

As it is supposed in quests, players will interact a lot with characters, solve puzzles and riddles, explore locations, compare facts and think a lot.

Judging by the announcer, Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy is created with the use of modern technology and will honour the memory of Benoit Sokal.

When We Can Expect It

Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy is expected to release in 2024 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
