Fans of the souls-like genre will soon expect another interesting project from Polish developers.

Here's What We Know

Mighty Koi studio announced a dark action game The Night Wanderer based on the series of novels by Polish writer Jarosław Grzędowicz "The Lord of the Ice Garden".

The game is set in a far future world on the planet Midgaard - and this title is not the only crossover with Scandinavian mythology, as the visual style, atmosphere and general concept of the game are reminiscent of the Viking culture.

The protagonist of The Night Wanderer will be Vuko Drakkainen, who is forced to go to the extremely dangerous planet Midgaard, where radiation disables all equipment.

The main character's body is implanted with artificial intelligence, which controls his health and increases his physical strength and endurance.

The presented trailer does not allow to estimate how The Night Wanderer gameplay will look like, but we can already state that the game has an interesting style, the developers competently combine elements of futurism and motifs of medieval Scandinavian peoples.

Game designers say that the game combines action, RPG and souls-like in an unconventional way, and the locations in The Night Wanderer are built on the principle of metroidvania.

When We Can Expect It

In the video, the developers gave an ingenious release date: "Coming: when it's ready".

The Night Wanderer will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
