Krafton publishing house and Striking Distance studio (which was recently left by its founder Glen Schofield) announced a new game in The Callisto Protocol universe.

But it's not a sequel, but something quite unexpected!

Here's What We Know

Game designers presented the game under the working title Project Birdseye, and it's not a space horror like The Callisto Protocol, but a colourful and dynamic top-down shooter with roguelike elements, the place of action of which will be Black Iron prison - that's where the events of Schofield's game unfolded.

The developers say that Project Birdseye should not be considered as a prequel or sequel to The Callisto Protocol, but rather an experiment, which was supported by a part of Striking Distance team.

That's all we know about the game at the moment: neither platforms, nor Project Birdseye release date have been announced yet.
