Hint from the head of Nightdive Studios: the acclaimed shooter The Darkness may get a remaster and release on PC for the first time
Recently, more and more remasters and remakes of iconic games have been released and one of their leading developers is Nightdive Studios.
They recently released a remake of System Shock, remasters of Blade Runner and two parts of Quake, announced the release of Star Wars: Dark Forces and Turok 3: Shadow of Oblivion remasters, but it looks like the company is working on another interesting re-release.
Here's What We Know
One of the Twitter/X users asked if anyone is developing an updated version of The Darkness (2007) and if it is planned to be released on PC, since the relevance of PS3 and Xbox 360 is long gone.
And unexpectedly the gamer got an answer from the head of Nightdive Studios Stephen Kick himself!
Kick didn't give a direct answer, but made it clear that The Darkness is already "on the list".
We'll have to wait for the official announcement, but considering Nightdive Studios is busy with other projects, it's unlikely to happen anytime soon.
