Back in 2015, Shigeru Miyamoto announced that "Pikmin 4 is not only ongoing, but is in its final stages," but the game was released only a few months ago. Naturally, many fans of the series began to wonder whether they would have to wait as long for the sequel.

Here's What We Know

Currently, there is no specific answer to this question, as Nintendo itself rarely makes specific promises, but it seems that this time the company wants to avoid such a long pause between games.

Recently, in an interview with Eurogamer, Nintendo veteran Takashi Tezuka answered the question "Should we wait for Pikmin 5?" with "We'll try to make sure no one has to wait"

Of course, this is not a concrete confirmation and we should not forget that it took another eight years to create Pikmin 4 after the development team announced that "development is close to completion", but the success of Pikmin 4 still gives grounds for optimism.
