Rumour: Netflix plans to screen the Baldur's Gate RPG series

RPG Baldur's Gate 3 has become an absolute hit not only for fans of classic RPGs, but also for fans of the Dungeons & Dragons board game, on the setting and rules of which it is based.

Like most successful franchises, Baldur's Gate may get a film adaptation.

Probably soon Netflix streaming service will get the rights to adapt the famous series from BioWare (1st and 2nd parts) and Larian Studios (third game).Such information was shared by Giant Freaking Robot portal, but unfortunately, its sources don't tell what it will be: a film, a TV series or an anime.

At the moment it is unknown how much this insider corresponds to reality, but taking into account Netflix's love for adapting popular games (Assassin's Creed, Castlevania, Resident Evil, Cyberpunk 2077, Arcane), the Baldur's Gate adaptation looks absolutely natural and realistic.
