Quantic Dream has announced that the development of Star Wars: Eclipse is in full swing, suggesting that new details about the game will appear soon.

Here's What We Know

The project was announced with a mysterious and slightly creepy trailer at The Game Awards 2021, but since then, very few details have been revealed, except that it will be set in the period of the "High Republic".

Last week during the Tokyo Game Show, Quantic Dream's Vice President of Marketing, Lisa Pendse, when asked about the game's development status, said:

"Can I say it still exists? Because it exists. It's just not ready. It's simmering"

It is not yet clear how much longer the game will be in development and whether it will be put on the back burner to focus on some other project.

Quantic Dream hasn't released any new projects since Detroit: Become Human in 2018, although they have collaborated with indie studios on smaller projects.
