Sony may be preparing an improved version of The Last of Us: Part II for PS5: A Naughty Dog employee mentioned the remaster of the famous game in his profile
Dramatic action game The Last of Us: Part II was released in 2020 - a few months before the new PlayStation 5 console hit the market.
Gamers were sure that Sony would release an improved version of their blockbuster for the next-gen device, but that still hasn't happened. Instead of a port, a remake of the first instalment of The Last of Us was released for PS5 and PC.
But perhaps the situation will change soon.
Here's What We Know
On the page of one of the employees of the studio Naughty Dog, found interesting information. Mark Pajarillo, who is responsible for communication and interaction with outsourcers, mentioned in his Linkedin profile a project called The Last of Us 2: Remastered.
There are two possibilities: either Naughty Dog is preparing an updated version of the game and will release it on PS5 and possibly on PC, or Mark Pajarillo indicated incorrect information.
At this point, the profile information has been redacted, but the internet remembers everything.
Perhaps there's little doubt that an improved version of 2020's most titled game, The Last of Us: Part II, will be released sooner or later, but since neither Sony nor Naughty Dog have made any corresponding announcements, it's unlikely to happen anytime soon.
