IO Interactive's spy action game Project 007 will be significantly different from the Hitman franchise. New details of the ambitious James Bond game have been revealed

Danish studio IO Interactive - known for Hitman franchise - has been developing spy action Project 007 about the famous James Bond for several years.

Almost nothing is known about the game, but journalists of Edge portal managed to find out some interesting facts from the developers of Project 007.

Here's What We Know

Gamedesigners IO Interactive told that the new game will be different from Hitman. Despite the similarity of concepts, in the game about James Bond will be much less freedom of action than in the adventures of Agent 47.

The developers want to provide a thrilling cinematic story about James Bond's dangerous missions, and to do that, they need to have more control over the player's potential actions. They have described Project 007 as "absolute spy fiction" and "a very cool game". In terms of style and narrative, it will be more similar to the films of the franchise with Daniel Craig than to the pictures with Roger Moore.

As a reminder, the plot of Project 007 is not connected to any of the existing novels or films about the British superspy, it is an independent story.

Probably, before the release of the game will have to wait a few more years.
