Insider: studio Creative Assembly isn't sitting idle and is already strategising on a major franchise

A few days ago, Sega Sammy Holdings CEO Haruki Satomi announced that after the cancellation of the online shooter Hyenas, Creative Assembly studio will return to what they do best - developing top-notch strategy games.

It looks like the British developers have already started creating a new game!

Here's What We Know

In the latest episode of the Game Mess Mornings podcast, journalist and insider Jeff Grubb revealed that Creative Assembly is in development on a "major intellectual property."

He noted that while he will not be 100% sure on which franchise the project is being developed - will not disclose its name, but Grubb knows for sure that a new strategy is in development.

Recall that in addition to the popular Total War series, Creative Assembly is known for the excellent strategy game Halo Wars 2, created in the universe of the most popular shooters. Perhaps another Halo game is in development?
