Blogger and insider under the nickname eXtas1s in his podcast reported that the creators of legendary shooters DOOM and Quake from id Software studio are working on a new project under the Star Wars brand. He hints that the main character of the game could be the popular The Mandalorian.

EXtas1s claims that the new game will be an Xbox console exclusive.

It's safe to assume that if such a project is being created, it will be a fast-paced shooter - it's hard to expect anything else from id Software.
