Insider: the Gears Collection is undergoing testing and could be released as soon as possible
For quite some time now, there have been rumours on the net that The Coalition studio is working on a collection of updated versions of old parts of the cult shooter series Gears of War (nowadays the series is called Gears).
Neither the developers nor Microsoft have officially confirmed this information yet, but there is a possibility that the collection of remasters/remakes will be released in the near future.
Here's What We Know
During the Xbox Infinite podcast, an insider under the nickname Middleagegamegy revealed that The Coalition studio is already testing a near-finished compilation, and its unveiling, and possibly release, will take place in the coming months.
Considering that the Xbox Developer_Direct show will already take place on Thursday 18 January, we can assume that it will be the show where the Gears Collection will be announced.
It is assumed that the Gears Collection will include parts of Gears from the first to the fourth, as well as a spin-off with the subtitle Judgment.
Recall, at the moment the studio The Coalition is working on the sixth part of Gears, in which, according to rumours, for the first time in the series will appear fully open world.
