Insider: console versions of Dragon's Dogma 2 RPG will only run at 30 FPS

The release of the ambitious role-playing game Dragon's Dogma 2 is approaching.

The project attracts a lot of public attention and may become one of the top hits of 2024. However, console users may be a little disappointed.

Here's What We Know

Last month, Digital Foundry experts suggested that the Japanese game on consoles will only be able to run at 30 FPS.

Capcom has yet to comment on the game's performance on PS5 and Xbox Series, but an unnamed Japanese insider confirmed that console gamers should not expect high frame rates. This is probably due to the high quality graphics and the huge open world.

When We Can Expect It

Dragon's Dogma 2 will release on 22 March on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series.
