Rumour: Sony plans to release a remake of the famous adventure action game Uncharted Drake's Fortune
Sony is actively releasing updated versions of games from the studio Naughty Dog.
Thus, remasters of two parts of The Last of Us, a collection of remasters of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection and Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy - a collection of remasters of the first three games of the popular series of platformers have already been released.
Perhaps the company will re-release another Naughty Dog game.
Here's What We Know
On the XboxEra podcast, hosts Nick Baker and Jon Clarke revealed that they had heard independently of each other about the development of a remake of Uncharted Drake's Fortune.
The game came out in 2007 and laid the groundwork for one of Sony's most popular franchises.
Insiders aren't ready to say 100 per cent that a Uncharted remake is indeed in development, but noted that since their sources of information are not connected in any way, there's a good chance that Sony is seriously considering a full update of the acclaimed game.
Nick Baker and John Clarke have no information on whether Naughty Dog or Bluepoint Games (creator of the top-notch Shadow of the Colossus and Demon's Souls remakes, as well as remasters of the Uncharted trilogy) will take on the remake, but it's likely to be a completely different developer.
