Insider: Capcom is working on five new Resident Evil games, including a ninth instalment
Today we reported that actor Craig Burnatowski, who voiced one of the central characters Albert Wesker in the Resident Evil 4 remake, has hinted that a new instalment of the iconic horror series is in development.
But it looks like Capcom's plans are far more extensive than that.
Here's What We Know
Reputable insider DuskGolem has revealed that Capcom is working on at least five new Resident Evil games, including the number nine instalment!
It is still left to guess what these games are, but it is logical to assume that one of them will be a remake of Resident Evil V, and the very first part of the series deserves a complete update. In addition, fans have been asking Japanese developers to release a remake of Resident Evil Code: Veronica for a long time.
Given that the Resident Evil series is the foundation of Capcom's well-being, there is no doubt that the company will pay special attention to its flagship franchise.
Perhaps Capcom will reveal at least some of the future projects soon.
