Insiders have shared the first information about the PlayStation Showcase, but the announced dates for the event vary considerably
Sony held a 40-minute State of Play show this past week, where it showcased a number of highly anticipated games.
The event always attracts a lot of interest from the public, but much more important for the gaming industry is another show from the Japanese company - the annual PlayStation Showcase presentation.
Sony has not yet announced plans for the PlayStation Showcase, but the first information is already starting to appear on the network.
Here's What We Know
According to Italian journalist Roberto Serrano, Sony will hold a large-scale presentation in the second half of 2024, most likely in September.
Serrano believes that the company will present to the public new projects of such famous studios as Naughty Dog, Guerrilla Games, Bend Studio, PlayStation London, Sucker Punch and others.
However, insider John Harker has hinted that a show comparable to the scale of the performance at the defunct E3 will take place in May.
We're sure gamers are looking forward to the PlayStation Showcase whenever it takes place.
