Capcom is working on several Resident Evil games, including remakes - rumours
Considering the success Capcom has had with the Resident Evil series, especially in recent years, it is safe to say that the company intends to release many more such games. Although the company has not made any official announcements so far, there are many rumours on the Web that at least several such games are in development.
Here's What We Know
A popular Dusk Golem insider recently reported that the Japanese studio is currently developing as many as five games based on the Resident Evil series, which are at different stages of development, and now he has added some details to this information. In a post on Discrod, he claims that "several" Resident Evil games were given the green light by Capcom last year, and that "some" of them are remakes.
It is likely that one of the new games is Resident Evil 9, which, according to leaks, will be announced this year and released next year. Although, given that the game has allegedly been in development since 2018, it is logically not one of the projects that have been given the green light. Speaking of remakes, it is safe to assume that Resident Evil 5 is among them.
