The action game NieR: Automata was released in 2017 and over time has gathered a huge fanbase around it.

Although the game is still very popular - its sales have exceeded 8 million copies - fans have long dreamed of a sequel to NieR: Automata.

Perhaps the gamers' wish has already been heard.

Here's What We Know

Recently there was a concert in London, where the orchestra performed the soundtrack from NieR: Automata (we note that the music in the game is simply delightful!). The event was attended by NieR: Automata creator Yoko Taro, who came on stage and asked the audience if they wanted a sequel to their favourite game. According to an eyewitness who posted his impressions on the Resetera forum, the audience started applauding loudly, shouting and emotionally expressing their joy at the possible continuation of the series.

Yoko Taro informed the audience that the president of Square Enix was in the audience, who heard and saw the reaction of the game's fans. Perhaps the Japanese company will announce a new NieR instalment soon.
