Borderlands developer Gearbox Software is working on six projects at once, including a new IP

Gearbox Entertainment has parted ways with Embracer Group, as Take-Two Interactive has decided to acquire the developer for a whopping $460 million. In a press release announcing the acquisition, Gearbox said that Borderlands 4 is actively being developed in their studios, among several other projects in the pipeline.

Here's What We Know

Take-Two Interactive reports that Gearbox currently has six games in various stages of development, including some intriguing new intellectual property. Among these games are Borderlands 4 and the imminent launch of Homeworld 3 in May. Speculation also suggests the development of Tiny Tina's Wonderlands 2.

Details of the other two titles have not yet been revealed. Fans are eagerly awaiting news about the long-awaited Gearbox project - a new part of the Brothers in Arms series, which has been in talks for many years.
