35% off: pixelated metroidvania Dead Cells costs $16 on Steam until October 12

Do you like pixelated games and hardcore gameplay? A few years ago, the French studio Motion Twin decided to create such a mixture and presented Dead Cells, which received a small but pleasant discount on Steam.

The authors themselves describe the Dead Cells genre as "RogueVania" - a mixture of roguelite and metroidvania. The game takes place in a sprawling castle that changes after each player's death. The game has more than 100 types of weapons and spells that will make the gameplay diverse. And different locations from sewers to forests, where different enemies are located, only increases the diversity. If you've never played a game of this genre, be prepared to die a lot in the beginning, but once you understand the basic mechanics, the game can drag you away for tens of hours. Dead Cells received 89 points from critics and 8.3 points from players on Metacritic.
