A mobile version of the cult strategy game Civilisation has been announced

Publisher 2K Games has officially announced the mobile version of the popular 4X-strategy Civilisation.

Here's What We Know

Earlier the game was available in test mode for users of some regions. It was called Conquests and Alliances - 4X Empire Builder, but now it is renamed to Civilisation: Era & Allies.

It will be a free-to-play strategy game for Android and iOS devices that will offer users familiar gameplay, but on mobile platforms.

Players will still be able to choose one of the historical characters to lead their nation and try to lead it to prosperity.

2K has not revealed which studio is working on Civilisation: Eras & Allies, but notes that the work will not interfere with the creation of a full seventh Civilization instalment.
