IGN journalists are excited about Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1. The Nintendo Switch version received the most positive impressions

IGN portal has released previews for the classic Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 on Nintendo Switch.

Here's What We Know

IGN journalists noted the high quality of the collection and believe that Konami has responsibly approached the re-release of the famous stealth action games.

The compilation includes five games, which are installed on the console separately:

• Metal Gear;
• Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake;
• Metal Gear Solid;
• Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (HD version);
• Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (HD version).

Also included in the set are various extras for each of the games.

With the exception of occasional FPS drops, all of them run perfectly on Nintendo Switch and are well adapted to the specifics of the device.

The games are virtually indistinguishable from the originals, but for fans of the classics, this will only be a plus.

IGN journalists are very happy with the compilation and believe it will be even better by the time of release.

When We Can Expect It

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 will be released on 24 October 2023 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC. The cost of the compilation is $60.
