Two reputable insiders are claiming that gamescom 2023 could see a private presentation of Nintendo's next gaming console
Prior to gamescom 2023, there were rumours that Nintendo would unveil its new gaming console at the event.
Unfortunately, there was never a public demonstration, but it's possible that there was still a private presentation.
Here's What We Know
According to two reputable journalists - Windows Central editor Jez Corden and Tom Henderson - creator of the Insider Gaming portal - the Japanese company could hold at gamescom 2023 an exclusive demonstration of its new device for a narrow circle of developers and members of the press.
It is not yet known if this is true, but if the console was indeed demonstrated, it means that it is, firstly, ready for release, secondly, we can expect leaked information, and thirdly, the public presentation of Nintendo Switch 2 (the name is conditional) will take place soon.
From 1 to 4 September, Seattle will host the Nintendo Live 2023 festival, it's possible that the device will be unveiled there, or it could happen at the Tokyo Game Show, which will take place from 21 to 24 September.
