Gotham Knights was released back in October 2022 on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. But now we can expect a version for Nintendo Switch.

Here's What We Know

The ESRB, an organisation that evaluates and assigns age ratings to video games, has updated the game's page and added a new platform - Nintendo Switch. Journalist Andrew Marmo posted on Twitter that this clearly cannot be a mistake, because if you open the game's page through the Wayback Machine, there was no information about the portable version back in January this year.

This is also confirmed by the fact that a mention of the Switch version of Gotham Knights appeared on the website of the Singapore government agency. And it is unlikely that gamers will find a cloud version, as the ESRB does not update information about such versions of games.

It is not clear how the game will work on Switch. On PS5 and Xbox, the Gotham Knights series runs only at 30 fps. It is a mystery how the developers are going to optimise the game on a console that is much weaker than the above mentioned ones.

There is no information about the release date and price yet.

Flashback

The story of Ghotam Knights tells that Batman is dead. Now his family - Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin - have to protect Gotham and give hope to its residents. Gotham Knights is a 3-person open-world role-playing game. Players will be offered to patrol five different districts of the city alone or in a co-op. However, the game was not very popular with gamers and received 5 out of 10 points on Metacritic.
