Last month, Rockstar Games Studios released a port of the first instalment of Red Dead Redemption for Nintendo Switch and PS4 (and PS5).
Today, an attentive Twitter user under the nickname @necrolipe found a mention of a Nintendo Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2 on the Brazilian age board website.
Here's What We Know
Since the developer hasn't made any such announcements yet, we can make a few assumptions:
- The mention is a formality of no consequence.
- Rockstar Games will release a cloud-based version of RDR 2 on Nintendo Switch.
- There will be a native version of the iconic game for Japanese handheld consoles, but the graphics and other technical parameters will be significantly cut down.
- A few days ago, it was reported online that Rockstar Games will release versions of RDR 2 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, possibly releasing a version for Switch at the same time.
- This could be referring to Nintendo's next console, which (according to rumours) will be comparable in power to the PS4, allowing RDR 2 to be released on it without any problems.
