Error corrected: the Brazilian rating board has removed mention of the Nintendo Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2
A few days ago, gamers were interested in the mention on the Brazilian Age Commission website of a Nintendo Switch version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Here's What We Know
In general, this information immediately raised doubts, because to run such a technological game as RDR2 on Nintendo Switch is possible only with the use of cloud services, and they require a constant connection to the Internet.
As it turned out, the Brazilian commission made a mistake and has already corrected the information on the site. Apparently, it was referring to the Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare add-on, which was recently released on Switch at the same time as the first part of the cult western.
Fans of Japan's portable consoles shouldn't despair, however, as rumours suggest that Nintendo's next console will be comparable in power to the PS4. This will allow Red Dead Redemption 2 to run seamlessly on it, and from this perspective, the Brazilians' information doesn't seem like a mistake anymore, but looks like an attempt not to give away confidential information about the device before time.
