Pac-Man 99 is over! Nintendo has shut down the game's servers and removed it from the Switch Online catalogue
Pac-Man 99 servers have stopped working and the game is no longer available to Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
Here's What We Know
The shutdown of the game's servers should not have come as a surprise, as back in May this year, Nintendo announced plans to close access to the game in October. In early August, the game lost the ability to purchase custom themes for the game, and in September, the ability to purchase Pac-Man 99 Deluxe Pack or Pac-Man 99 Mode Unlock DLC disappeared.
In the final phase of Pac-Man 99's discontinuance, the main game and its free custom themes were removed from the eShop and the game's online services were discontinued.
If you purchased the paid DLC for the game earlier, you will still be able to play the game despite the server shutdown.
