The total number of Nintendo Switch copies sold over the years has reached over 132 million copies

Recently, Nintendo has updated information on sales of various game consoles, including the Nintendo Switch. According to the company, as of September 30, 2023, 132.46 million consoles were sold.

Here's What We Know

At the time of the last sales update, which took place last quarter, 129.53 million Switch units were sold. Using some basic maths, we can calculate that 2.93 million consoles were sold during the last quarter, down slightly from the same period in the previous year. Sales of game software reached over 1.133 billion units.

Meanwhile, the original Switch (as well as all the hardware of all Nintendo Switches) is now six years old and Nintendo has not yet officially announced a successor to the console.
