Bandai Namco creates Studio 2 & Studio S game studio to help Nintendo with its games
Bandai Namco has announced the creation of Studio 2 & Studio S. It will work with Nintendo on its projects.
Here's What We Know
The Studio 2 & Studio S team has already worked on the Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart series since the Wii U and 3DS. But Bandai Namco has only now formalised the team as its own studio.
Currently, Studio 2 & Studio S employs 152 people. 32% are new employees. About 40% of the team are artists. The rest are designers and programmers.
There are also open vacancies on the website. Their descriptions indicate that the team will continue to work with Nintendo. After all, one of the vacancies states that a person will "develop consumer games commissioned by Nintendo".
Bandai Namco has cooperated with Nintendo before. For example, they created Star Fox Assault, New Pokémon Snap, and Pokkén Tournament, among others.
