Media: Nintendo is looking for new partners to ramp up the release of games from its own franchises

Nintendo's new console is expected to be released in 2024 and it obviously needs games.

The Japanese company has a lot of in-house resources and works with many partners, but perhaps Nintendo's management is not enough with the current number of projects.

GamesIndustry.biz editor Christopher Dring said that according to his information, Nintendo is actively looking for new partners to ensure the continued release of games from its own franchises.

Nintendo regularly works with third-party teams including Bandai Namco, Team Ninja, Platinum Games, MercurySteam, WayForward and Grezzo. But I do know that Nintendo is in talks with three other independent companies to create games based on their brands.

Nintendo Switch remains one of the most popular gaming platforms. And if the same interest continues for the next generation of the console, it will be difficult for the company to meet the demands of gamers without bringing in additional developers.
