Outward: Definitive Edition, an open-world fantasy role-playing game from Nine Dots Studio, has been released on Nintendo's handheld, and the developers have published a new trailer in honour of this:

Here's What We Know

The Definitive Edition of the game was released in 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC. It contains a lot of improvements over the base game, such as deeper integration with elements from The Soroboreans and The Three Brothers expansion pack.

In the game, you will become ordinary adventurers who find themselves in a magical world where they have to survive from dangerous environmental conditions and various dangerous creatures. However, you don't have to go through all these challenges alone, as the game supports both local and online co-op modes.

As for the scores from players and critics, it's a mixed bag: the game received 69 and 65 points from critics and players on Metacritic, respectively; 69 points and just 30% of recommendations on OpenCritic; and "mostly positive" reviews based on almost 20 thousand reviews on Steam.
