Gabe Newell, Hideo Kajima and other development stars in Dragon Ball Z fan video
At the end of June, the comedy YouTube channel Mega64 released a parody retelling of the plot of Dragon Ball Z. But the media paid attention to it only now, noticing the cameos of various famous developers in the video.
The main characters face Majin Buu - one of the main antagonists of the series. To defeat him, the characters turn to all the people of the planet for help. Having raised their hands to the sky, those who care should transfer their energy to the protagonist - so he will form a big spiritual bomb.
Among those caught on tape were friends of the authors, YouTubers and well-known personalities of the gaming industry:
- Gabe Newell is one of the founders and head of Valve
- Hideo Kojima is the founder and head of Kojima Productions, the creator of Death Stranding and the Metal Gear series
- Hideki Kamiya is the author of Bayonetta, Devil May Cry and Okami
- Hironobu Sakaguti is the creator of the Final Fanrasy series
- Cliff Bleszynski is the author of Unreal and Gears of War
- Hidetaka Suehiro is the creator of Deadly Promonition and The Good Life
Later, the authors of the video published a cut with all the heroes who "shared their power." Some, like Hideki Kamiya, sent a whole bunch of takes.
