At the TennoCon festival, there were also third-party services, but the most attention was paid, of course, to the culprits of the festivities - Warframe. Digital Extremes studio collected the main points of the show in one article, and we selected the main ones.

Duviri Paradox Update

The events of the "Duviri Paradox" update take place before the "New War". The main character is a criminal called Drifter, who needs to escape from the endless cycle of Duviri's death and birth.

"Exploring the color-changing landscapes of Duviri under the control of Dominus Thrax, you'll battle Dax guards, complete quests, solve puzzles, and be rewarded with Edicts—enhancements that enhance your Drifter's abilities during the day cycle. With the help of Teshin and enough decrees, the help of Teno's comrades and your trusty flying kite, you will be able to challenge the formidable Orovirm."

"Duviri's Paradox" will start next winter.

Veilbreaker Update

In Shatter the Veil, you will play as Kahl-175, a Grynir soldier who fights for his freedom and the freedom of his brothers.

Having survived the ravages of Cetus Erroy and removed the Veil of Narmer, he faces the archons - now he must defeat them and lift the Veil once and for all.

Update coming soon.

Cross-play, cross-save and mobile version

Digital Extremes has been testing the cross-platform game internally for the past year. Public testing will take place in 2022.

In preparation for cross-play/cross-saves and the release of Warframe on mobile devices, developers will be syncing the game's subsystems, starting with the Abyssal Merchant, Baro Ki'tiir. Inventory will be brought into compliance for all platforms on July 29.

When the world will see all this is not specified.

Collaboration with Joe Madureira

Joe Madureira is a comic book artist behind Uncanny X-Men and Darksiders. Together with Digital Extremes, he is working on a warframe inspired by the image of a wolf.

50th Warframe

Digital Extremes has released a teaser for an upcoming animated short about Stinax, the 50th Warframe. Its description says:

"Inspired by the warriors of Earth's distant past, armed with spears and shields, Stinax evokes associations with heroes of ancient mythology. You can expect Stinax, always brave in the face of the enemy, to never shy away from a fight."
