Schreier: Grand Theft Auto VI will have multiple playable characters, but not three

A while ago, a document at Reddit with the leaked plot of Grand Theft Auto VI and many others made some noise. It sounds too good to be true. And so it turned out to be - Bloomberg journalist Jason Schreier named the leak fanfic.

In addition to plot details, the document contains information about the map, new gameplay features, three playable characters along with backstories and the integration of heroes in GTA Online. All this is spiced up with an estimated release date of late 2024.

Jason Schreier drew attention to the leak and laughed at its author. If you believe the journalist, no one has access to such detailed information. At most, these are subject to change as development of GTAVI continues.

He also denied information about the number of protagonists, but did not specify whether there will be more or less than three. Before Schreier confirmed data about only one of the looting characters - a woman specializing in hacking and technology.

We will remind you that the team officially announced the production of the next numbered part of GTA at the beginning of February 2022. No information about the project was received directly from Rockstar Games.
