Immediately after the failed release of Warcraft III: Reforged, which took place in January 2020, the developers promised to fix all the shortcomings of the remaster, but since the game's release, not a single significant update has been released.

Finally, on the official Blizzard forum there is information from community manager Kaivax. According to him, a major patch for the re-release of the cult strategy game will be released as early as next week. It will introduce a ranking mode, leaderboard, player profiles, as well as a number of innovations and bug fixes. For a complete list of changes, visit official website of Blizzard.

It is reported that the developers are already completing testing of update 1.33 and plan to release it on August 17.

Kaivax has warned that in anticipation of patch 1.33, the Warcraft III: Reforged servers will be shut down for a period of time for technical work.
