New season in Apex Legends attracts a record number of players

A few days ago, Apex Legends Battle Royale began its 14th season titled Pursuit, in which the authors introduced a lot of additional content. The game has a new character named Vantage, as well as the developers significantly updated the map of Canyon Kings.

Apparently, these innovations are so liked by the players that Apex Legends, which already enjoys steady popularity, set a new record. Thus, on August 10 the Steam service recorded a peak online of 510 thousand players in Apex Legends.

The new record exceeds the previous maximum figures recorded at the beginning of the thirteenth season by almost 100 thousand people.
These figures indicate that the battle royale from the American studio Respawn Entertainment is gaining in popularity.
