It's been almost 30 years since the original Mortal Kombat shocked and simultaneously delighted players with its bloodiness and brutality. Naturally, such a series would be bound to have collections and compilations - and we got that in the form of Mortal Kombat Trilogy, which was in fact the third part in the series but contained all the content of the previous two.

It was released on PC discs in 1997, but for a long time it was scarce, so hard to get to the gamer community. But, news broke that Midway Games and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment have placed the trilogy digitally on the GOG store, so anyone who wants to get nostalgic will have no problem doing so now. In fact, the game got its first digital release.

Note that GOG already sells Mortal Kombat 1+2+3 compilation, but Trilogy has its own features, like the available from the beginning game characters Motaro and Shao Kahn or a modified version of Johnny Cage.

The Galaxy Of Gamers Mortal Kombat is on sale for -10% off, so you can buy it for $6.29.
